When we were given the brief to re-brand an already existing company I was excited to turn my focus to a local coffee shop that had opened in 1994, and hadn’t been updated since. The shop was re-branded from Jitters to Caffeol- named after the German word for a fragrant oil produced by roasting coffee. Block printing influenced the brand’s overall style- chosen for its recognizable look and hand-crated nature. The logo and illustrations were prompted by the local ravens that love to romp in the parking lot.
